Banker's Alley. Founded: 1814. Location: Between Union and Church streets running from Fourth to Second avenues. History: Banker's Alley, one of the smaller alleys, dates back to the days when Union Avenue was the Wall Street of the South. In the early 1800s the city's first bank was located on Union at the corner of Banker's Alley.
