Jason Shaune Rees knew where the 71-year-old kept the money she was putting aside for presents, and helped himself to the cash in order to help fund his heroin habit. Ian Wright, prosecuting, told Swansea Crown Court that the victim of the break-in kept two collection tins in a cupboard in her house - one where she would put aside money for family Christmas presents, and one for life insurance dues.
