Former chairman Paul Duffen is facing competition to buy the Tigers from two rival bidders. Duffen’s consortium, backed by Saudi investors, have placed a formal offer for the club and are now in a period of due diligence as the entrepreneur bids to return to the club he resigned from in 2009.
