From luxury cinemas to axe throwing centres, it's been a busy year for Newcastle city centre. Since January this year, we've welcomed ice cream parlours, all you can eat buffets and plenty of places for cocktails and craft ale. But 2019 has also seen the loss of beloved businesses including Gotham and popular pizza restaurant The Herb Garden.
